The Role Navigator of Experiences

As a Community Navigator, you are the heartbeat of our community engagement. You aren't just a support worker; you are an event planner, a social media storyteller, and a mentor. Your mission is to bridge the gap between social isolation and meaningful belonging.

Your Impact

• Curate Connection Plan weekly, monthly, and quarterly events—from private gatherings that hone social skills to large-scale community outings.

• Direct Support Spend 60% of your time working 1-on-1 with DreamLifers in their homes and the community, using techniques like role modeling and body doubling to build confidence.

• Tell Our Story Manage DreamLife Destiny’s social media platforms, celebrating the milestones and achievements of our DreamLifers.

• Lead the Logistics Handle the scheduling that ensures our DreamTeam is exactly where our DreamLifers need them, when they need them.

What You Bring to the DreamTeam

• A Heart for People Above all else, you must genuinely care.

• Creativity & Leadership Experience in event planning and group facilitation.

• Tech Savvy Proficiency in social media marketing, scheduling software, and standard office tech.

• Adaptability Comfortable providing individualized IHS (Individualized Home Supports) with training.

• Mobility A reliable vehicle, valid insurance, and a willingness to navigate the Twin Cities.

Requirements

• Passage of a background study.

• Comfortable working around support animals.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, reliable vehicle with valid insurance.

• Availability during weekday office hours (8 am - 5 pm) as well as some evenings and weekends.
