DreamLife Destiny is the emerging leader in credible social services in Minnesota

There has been a lot of political posturing after the State of Minnesota discovered serious fraud in programs linked to the Department of Human Resources. Most of these fraudulent companies were started during Covid when controls were loosened to allow necessary services to continue. Additionally, years of reduction in support for DHS, staffing, and program costs have created a climate where many programs cannot exist with out skirting the requirements. Federal reductions have only exacerbated the problem.
At DreamLife Destiny, we set out to be a disrupter in the social services industry creating effective programs that provide multiple layers of service that get to the heart of successful support. Our programs make not only individual advancements, but build community connections, and save millions of dollars for federal, state, county, and local municipalities.
We've done this by looking at the available programs and creating a Dual Service that combines IHS with Training and 24 Hour Emergency Assistance as a base package that works to improve daily mental health, increase skills, work towards recovery, build community and natural supports, and so much more. We add to that targeted Remote Services and the suite of comprehensive Employment Services to help fully support our individuals. We call our supports Person First as that's the focus that these services and supports need.
We were EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) registered on day one of our operations. This means we are accountable to be where we say we are when we should be. We have a high level of ethics requiring our staff to be on time and fulfill shifts filling out detailed daily logs. We document this electronically and then have it managerial checked including on site spot checks. We do weekly checks to evaluate not only our individuals mental and physical health, but to asses their services to ensure they are getting what they need. Our program are so effective and unique that on our first DHS review we were one of the only companies to receive no corrections and were told "this is the way services should be delivered" and "that we get it."
So how do we ensure programs throughout the state are not fraudulent, we believe it comes in accountability, ethics, and effective programs. It also means fully funding the services and provide DHS with the resources to monitor the programs effectively. DreamLife Destiny is showing the way.
Now we just need the state and federal goverments to quit posturing and follow our lead!
