A big part of living independently and achieving goals is living a life that is full of opportunities that build community. To that end, we love to explore activities that are enjoyable, fun, get individuals out of the house, and connect to others. We customize these activities to the interests of the individuals we support and our overall community. TWINS GAMES | Season Tickets
DreamLife Destiny has season tickets to the Twins. Our 20 game package allows us to take individuals to the games with other DreamLifers and Destiny Associates, meet new people, experience the stadium effect, enjoy some food and beverages, and have a rollicking good time.
CONCERTS | Music + More
We enjoy taking individuals to their favorite or new artists concerts. So far we have attended a Jellyroll Concert and a Styx Concert both at Mystic Lake Casino. If an individual we support has a favorite concert they wish to attend, we support them throughout the event.
SPORTS | Major and Minor Events
We have attended multiple sporting events and activities with our individuals including baseball, bowling, wrestling, swimming, fitness, and hockey. If you have a specific sport you enjoy, we'd be happy to help you plan and support you throughout the event.
SHOWS | Theater + Movies
DreamLifers have enjoyed theater events including most recently a live showing of Hairspray and a variety of movies. We are always up for a new theater experience or a good movie. It is fascinating how much theater and movies can communicate and help support individuals in their quest to understand the world.
OUTDOORS | Activities
Outings to parks have included Independence Day picnics and carnivals, fishing, hikes and nature walks. We are always up for exploring the great outdoors.
SHOPS | Malls + More
Malls aren't just for shopping any more. There's great food, entertainment, spas, and more. We've explored Northtown, Mall of America, Ridgedale, Rosedale, and Riverdale. There's a lot more to discover in the Twin Cities!
SEASONAL EVENTS | Celebrations
You name the special event and we've probably already done it. Adventures have included: pumpkin carving, Halloween Festival, Christmas Tree Lighting, dances, and holiday light tours.
STATE FAIR | Fun For All
Thre geat Minnesota Get Together is for everyone. Whether it's food on a stick, a grandstand show, or playing games in the Midway. We are here to support you throughout the event. Last year we accompanied a number of people to the Fair and look forward to more adventures this coming year.
